This adapter is often used to quickly disconnect the antenna coaxial feed line prior to inclement weather such as thunderstorms. It is also a handy component for field installations such as ARRL Field Day activities or quick connect your radio to move it from say inside your ham shack to your mobile rig location. I almost sent them back because the package I received was for a digital multi-meter which I knew I did not order.

I could not figure out at first who would send me a meter I did not order.   It would have been helpful if the re-used box had the multi-meter covered up and some info stating what was inside.   Anyway they arrived in great condition and fairly quickly so thanks for that.
