USB 2.0 to eSATA SATA bridge adapter that is easy to use--no need to open your computer, no need to install a driver, XP to WIN7 will find the drivers and install. USB 2.0 High Speed (480 Mbps) & Full Speed (12 Mbps) transfer rates and will make any SATA or eSATA mass storage device into a convenient external USB 2.0 high speed drive. It does support 2.5/3.5 inch SATA/eSATA hard drives, SATA CD/DVD drives and eSATA drive enclosure, useful for copying and offloading files between hard drives. Remember, you cannot use both ports at the same time.  Also, you will need to supply power for your regular SATA drives.

Requirements

  Desktop or Laptop PC with an available USB 2.0 port.

  eSATA to SATA cable (for SATA drive) or eSATA to eSATA cable (for eSATA enclosure).

  Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista, Linux, MAC OS 10.0 or higher (Older Windows 98/98SE need vendor driver).

** Separate power supply required for plain SATA drive, you may use a power extension from inside case for that.
